What is the history of the Indian cave in Tennessee?
Provenance: Indian Cave Park Association was formed in 1916 to develop the cave as a commercial attration. It was open as an attraction from 1924 to 2005. Prior to this, the cave was believed to be used by Native Americans, trapers, and settlers. In 1983, human remains were found by UT and dated over 3,000 years old.
