Does i7 heat more than i5?
An i7 uses more power than an i5, logic dictates that more power = more heat. If the task is CPU intensive it will generate more heat but complete the task is a shorter period of time. Think of the saying many hands make light work. Quicker to complete but requires more horsepower or in this case CPU cycles.May 21, 2020
