Are folktale and folklore the same?
“Folklore” is an umbrella term that encompasses many different forms such as narratives, customs, beliefs, material objects, etc. So given the three terms you've asked about, “folk tales” and “myths” would both be sub-categories of “folk narrative,” which is itself a sub-category of “folklore” in general.Oct 31, 2020
